Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Elite Greece Travels, we are committed to providing carefully curated travel experiences and personalized services across Greece.

As many of our services involve advance operational planning, supplier reservations, and limited availability, the following Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through Elite Greece Travels.

Please review this policy carefully before proceeding with any payment or reservation.

1. Booking Categories

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of service booked.

The following categories apply:

Shared Tours & Activities
Private Tours & Experiences
Tailor-Made Itineraries & Custom Travel Planning
Group Bookings & Multi-Service Reservations

Specific cancellation conditions may also be outlined directly in your proposal, invoice, or booking confirmation.

2. Deposits & Payment Terms

Deposits are required in order to secure availability, supplier reservations, operational scheduling, and related travel services.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

All deposits are non-refundable.
Booking confirmations are valid only after payment is received.
Remaining balances must be completed within the timeframe specified in the booking confirmation or invoice.

Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation without refund of previously paid amounts.

3. Shared Tours & Activities

For standard shared tours and activities:

Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Departure

Eligible for full refund minus any non-recoverable processing or administrative costs.

Cancellation 15–29 Days Before Departure

50% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.

Cancellation 14 Days or Less Before Departure

The booking becomes fully non-refundable.

No-Show

Failure to appear at the agreed meeting point, departure time, or service location will be treated as a no-show and is fully non-refundable.

4. Private Tours & Experiences

Private services require dedicated scheduling, supplier commitments, staffing, transportation arrangements, and reserved availability.

For this reason, stricter cancellation conditions apply.

Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Service

Any paid deposit remains non-refundable. Remaining amounts paid may be partially refundable depending on supplier commitments already secured.

Cancellation 15–29 Days Before Service

At least 50% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.

Cancellation 14 Days or Less Before Service

The booking becomes fully non-refundable.

Same-Day Cancellation or No-Show

100% cancellation charges apply.

5. Tailor-Made Itineraries & Custom Travel Services

Tailor-made travel planning involves extensive operational preparation, supplier coordination, itinerary design, research, scheduling, and reservation management.

For custom itineraries, luxury travel planning, concierge-style services, and multi-service bookings:

Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Certain hotels, villas, cruises, ferries, flights, and supplier services may become fully non-refundable immediately after confirmation.
Cancellation terms may vary depending on supplier conditions and seasonality.

Elite Greece Travels reserves the right to retain amounts already committed to third-party suppliers or operational planning costs.

6. Group Bookings

For group bookings, private charters, corporate travel, events, and multi-room reservations, custom payment schedules and cancellation conditions may apply.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Deposits are non-refundable.
Staged payments may also become non-refundable after the specified payment deadlines.
Final balances may become fully non-refundable within 30 days of the scheduled service date.

Any custom cancellation schedule provided in writing supersedes the standard policy outlined on this page.

7. Supplier Commitments & Operational Costs

Many services offered by Elite Greece Travels involve advance payments and contractual commitments to hotels, transportation providers, cruise operators, guides, activity providers, restaurants, and other third-party suppliers.

Once such commitments are made, related amounts may become partially or fully non-refundable.

Elite Greece Travels reserves the right to retain any unrecoverable operational or supplier-related costs already incurred.

8. Force Majeure & Operational Disruptions

Elite Greece Travels shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, itinerary changes, or operational disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Weather conditions
Sea conditions
Port authority decisions
Canal closures or maritime restrictions
Strikes
Government actions or restrictions
Supplier operational issues
Natural disasters
Force majeure events

In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered where reasonably possible.

Refunds are not guaranteed when operational or supplier costs have already been incurred.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

Trip cancellation
Medical emergencies
Delays and interruptions
Force majeure events
Personal belongings and baggage

Elite Greece Travels is not responsible for losses that could have been covered through travel insurance.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7–14 business days.

Refund timing may vary depending on banks, payment providers, and international processing systems.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Written Amendments & Exceptions

Any exception, modification, refund arrangement, rescheduling agreement, or special condition is valid only if confirmed in writing by Elite Greece Travels.

Verbal discussions or informal conversations do not constitute binding agreements.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with any payment, deposit, invoice settlement, secure payment link, or booking confirmation, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted:

Exceptional Circumstances

Elite Greece Travels understands that unexpected situations, including medical emergencies or serious personal circumstances, may occasionally arise.

While the cancellation terms outlined in this policy remain applicable, any goodwill consideration, partial refund, credit, or rescheduling option remains solely at the discretion of Elite Greece Travels and depends on supplier recovery possibilities, seasonality, and operational costs already incurred.

Supporting documentation may be requested where applicable.
